What data do we collect?

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone and title). Your name and email is required to use the features of our application.
• Courses assigned to you.
• Courses, packages and groups you create.
• Membership in a group and your role in a group.

When do we collect your data?

• You are the controller of your data. We process your data based on your instructions delivered to us by the use of our application. We will assist you if requested for GDPR obligations.
• When you create an account or an account is created for you.
• When a package is assigned to you.
• When you assign a package and when you create a course, package or group.

How will we use your data?

We do not sell your data to third parties. We only use your data to drive the functionality of the application:

• Manage accounts, courses, packages and groups. Your name, email and course completion status is provided in a report to the person(s) that made the course available to you in the country they reside.
• Notify you via email when a package is assigned to you, you are assigned as an admin or there is action to take in your account.
• All data other than email is processed in the United States of America in Azure data centers. Email is sent by Mailjet from servers in Germany. Our Azure and Mailjet subprocessors provide the same level of protection of data as we do and are ISO 27001 certified.
• Your data is stored until you delete your account.

How do we store your data?

We securely store your data in encrypted databases in Azure datacenters. We protect your data using best practices in cyber security. Your data is transmitted to our data center from your browser using HTTPS. We keep your data until you delete your data or delete your account.

Marketing

We will send you marketing emails only if you have created an account to publish courses.

What are your data protection rights?

Every person who has an account on our application is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You can see all of the data we collect about you when you log into your account.

The right to rectification – You can correct any information you believe is inaccurate by changing your profile in your account.

The right to erasure, restrict processing and object to processing – If you delete your account all of your personal data will be removed. After your account is deleted, there will be no additional processing of your data.

The right to data portability – When you log in you can can copy all data related to you.

If you request our help with these rights, we have one month to respond to you. You can request our help from our Data Protection Officer (DPO) through email at support@e-learningconsulting.com. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
